Flying Crew Chiefs in the 89th Maintenance Group support the Executive Airlift mission by ensuring aircraft remain safe, reliable, and mission-ready worldwide while transporting senior U.S. leadership and foreign dignitaries.

  • Travel worldwide supporting executive airlift missions, typically 80 to 200 travel days per year
  • Provide off-station aircraft maintenance support on C-32A (B757) and C-40B (B737)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft discrepancies off station
  • Work directly with Pilots, Flight Attendants, Communication Systems Operators, MOC Controllers, Aircraft Program Managers, Boeing, Delta, and experienced maintenance contractors to ensure aircraft are mission ready
  • Represent the very best of the United States with professionalism and precision in high-visibility environments
  • SrA, SSgt, and TSgts on a case-by-case basis
  • Airlift/Special Mission Aircraft Maintenance (2A5X1), Refuel/Bomber Aircraft Maintenance (2A5X4), Aerospace Propulsion Specialist (2A6X1C), and Heavy Aircraft Integrated Avionics (2A9X4)
  • Must be PCS eligible IAW 36-2110
  • Strong performance records and professionalism
